Kenya's new low-cost airline Jambojet to launch operations on 01 April 2014

Great news for travellers in Kenya. Jambojet, a new domestic low-cost airline based in Kenya, will launch operations on 01 April 2014. The airline will initially link Nairobi with Mombasa, Eldoret and Kisumu on a daily basis. Jambojet is a fully-owned subsidary of Kenya Airways and will operate two Boeing B737-300, which are leased from Kenya's flag carrier. Tickets for flights with Jambojet will go on sale from 27 Feb 2014. When entering the market, tickets will be available from Kshs3,000 (US$35) one way.
